The challenge

Did you know that 550,000 tonnes of paper weighs the same as one-and-a-half Empire State Buildings? Antalis do; that’s how much the leading paper and packaging distributor sold in the UK last year.

With 1,150 employees split across 24 sites, Antalis needs to connect with this varied and disparate audience. So we’ve created a magazine that satisfies everyone’s needs – whether they’re based in the office or warehouse.

The solution

Team Talk has something for everyone, whether that’s in-depth business updates or a glance at a colleague’s downtime hobby. And with paper distribution being such a huge part of Antalis’ business, it really was a no brainer to use paper from their own stocks and turn the magazine into a showcase piece. Then there’s Team Talk’s contemporary size and mix of original illustration and creative photography to give it a contemporary feel that plays to the senses.

The value

The magazine’s impact is clear from the reader survey, with 98 per cent of readers looking forward to the next issue.

And they’re not alone. Team Talk’s success was cemented with not one but two awards at the IoIC’s IoIC Central and North Awards 2017. The magazine received the Best Magazine Award and the coveted Tom Dawson Award for the ‘best of the best’ in the print category.
