Rising stars of internal communications

30 under 30The rising stars of internal communications have been named by the IoIC at the first ‘30 Under 30’ event.

The young people who are ‘making a difference’ in internal comms were selected by a judging panel of senior IC practitioners and received their certificates at a ceremony in London.

The ‘list’ was launched by the IoIC in September to find the top emerging talent in internal communications. Each entrant had to submit a video, a career summary and a ‘why me’ document demonstrating their achievements and outcomes. This then went to three individual judges including a university lecturer who specialises in internal comms. A panel then made the final selection of the 30.

We would like to congratulate all of the people who made the list, in particular a big congratulations to our very own Helen Deverell who is officially one of 30 under 30 internal communicators.

The judges were full of praise for Helen saying: ‘This is an impressive entry and her work reflects a high standard of professionalism. A future leading light in the profession with a blend of accreditation and practical success.’

Chief executive Steve Doswell told them: “You are a talented and exceptional group of people who have been judged to be IC’s rising stars.

“We know it’s important to identify and support talented practitioners – especially in the early stages of their career. We’re very proud of you and I know your employers will be too.”
