The Bupa story

The challenge

We were invited to help Bupa produce a range of collateral setting out the new strategic framework for the organisation – a campaign known as ‘The Bupa Story’. This included creating its own distinctive look and feel while complementing the Bupa brand, which at the same time was going through an evolution. The Bupa Story was a key opportunity to demonstrate this evolution to employees.

The solution

To deliver on an effective campaign we ensured the editorial was succinct and relevant to the audience, and delivered in the most visually appealing way possible – placing employees at the heart of the story. We set up a series of photo shoots at various locations, art directed by our head of creative. The imagery captured the energy, enthusiasm and professionalism demonstrated across Bupa, from health centres, to a call centre, to care homes. Deliverables included a defined look and feel for the story, a fold-out z-card, case study posters, a digital quiz and illustrated designs for feature walls and lift fronts.

The value

The concise and visually impactful creative ensured The Bupa Story was engaging and, importantly, took the audience with them. We had a delighted client who recognised the entire project was turned around in a limited amount of time to a very high standard. The project was successful enough for the internal brand team to employ us to organise, stage and art direct a further shoot to create a set of images to go on the brand centre.
