Innovation in Internal Communication– how many risks will you take?
Aspic Breakfast Seminar, April 6
Our company culture.
Three of the factors stopping many internal communicators from taking risks and producing something truly innovative.
Others, however, are communicating with their audiences in different, creative ways, surprising and delighting people along the way.
In our latest Aspic seminar on April 6, we look at how to overcome the barriers to innovation and use the tools at your disposal to create work that is truly memorable.… and it’s not all about big budgets or flashy tools. Sometimes the really simple things can have a huge ROI.
Our first speaker is Gordon Dowall-Potter, group head of internal communication at the FTSE 250 international construction giant Kier.
Gordon will share his approach to innovation which, at Kier, has included diverting his current budget to focus on new channels and then measuring their effectiveness along the way. As Gordon says: ‘doing what we’ve done in the past is not going to get us to where we want to be in the future, sometimes you have to challenge the norm!’
He will also talk about some of his other wins in a career which includes senior international communication roles based in Belgium, Dusseldorf and his work in the USA for a global fashion retailer.
We expect to confirm a second high level speaker shortly.
In the meantime, you can book tickets for the seminar, which runs from 9-11am at the Soho Hotel, London via EventBrite (tickets cost £20 each). There are a limited number of tickets available so please do book early.
