The Evolving Intranet

aspic the evolving intranetYour organisation’s social hub

With 10 days left until the next ASPIC seminar we are delighted to confirm that Waterstone’s Ayesha Graves will be presenting at the event. The Waterstones intranet, ‘Compass,’ is an award winner and has demonstrated excellent return on investment.

Ayesha will give an insight into how the intranet has become the company’s central information hub. Her presentation will follow on from Trip Advisor’s Pam Green who will explain how they stuck to their motto, “speed wins”, in building their new intranet in just 10 weeks. The intranet – ‘Passport’ – has received wide praise from the industry, earning over 4,000 visits and 24,000 page views in its first month.

THE EVENT

Today’s corporate intranet is very different to the early incarnation when the canteen menu was the most visited page.

In 2012 the best intranets combine communication of corporate information and employee interaction. The channel is continually evolving and in our next ASPIC seminar we explore best practices in intranet development, including the use of social media and mobile devices.

We will hear from guest speakers whose intranet systems are at different stages of evolution. And we’ll find out how they are using collaborative platforms such as SharePoint, Yammer and other bespoke systems to make the intranet a more powerful communication tool.
