We support the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) with their professional film content, but the communications team wanted to be more confident in filming shorter clips on their mobile phones that would work well on their newly relaunched intranet. They were keen to learn some tricks of the trade that would help them to plan and shoot effectively – and avoid common pitfalls.
As part of our BRICK (Building Real Internal Communications Knowledge) training package, we created a bespoke training session to suit the PPF team’s needs. From framing to lighting, and how to get your message across to getting the most from a subject, we covered a variety of topics to help them create engaging film content. There was a mix of theory- and activity-based learning, culminating in the team recording their own short clips at the end of the session.
The team at the PPF were thrilled with the training session. Comments included
Since completing the training, the team has applied the techniques to their work and it’s given them a better understanding of what goes into making a successful film – whether shooting on their phone or using a professional crew.
