2022 – A Year of Opportunity for Internal Communicators

Now that the worst of the pandemic appears to be over, where next for internal communication – and what does 2022 have in store?

Having proven their value during the Covid-19 crisis, and reset the IC agenda, the next 12 months is set to be a year of real opportunity for our industry.

Looking ahead to next year, our next Sequel Presents: A Coffee With webinar on Thursday 2 December welcomes Rosie Mowatt, Head of Communications at Arqiva, the British company at the heart of the broadcast and utilities sectors in the UK and abroad.

Rosie Mowatt – Head of Communications, Arqiva

A fellow of the Institute of Internal Communications, Rosie has held senior IC roles for the likes of Arval, AXA Life, RWE npower and HBOS Financial Services during her career and, newly appointed to her role at Arqiva, she is relishing the opportunity to build a dynamic IC function post-pandemic.

“It’s been an unprecedented 18 months or so, during which IC has proved itself to be invaluable for many organisations. Now we’ve had a chance to restock and reset, I’m looking forward to building on the elevated platform IC now has and making 2022 a year of fresh thinking and progress,” she said.

Rosie will be talking to Sequel director Nick Andrews about the big picture for IC and about the tactical changes that may be needed. For example, is it time for a channel audit or does the corporate intranet need a refresh? And how do we switch our attention to other challenges like values, purpose and sustainability?

Nick Andrews – Business Development Director, Sequel Group
