Bupa: Championing health & wellbeing for employee engagement
Bupa has long been a pioneer for championing the mental health and wellbeing of its employees and needed to further raise awareness of wellness issues and of the wealth of training and information materials.
We worked with the IC team to bring mental health and wellbeing campaigns to life:
Global Mental Health Let’s talk about it campaign
In the run up to World Mental Health Day we collaborated with Bupa to raise awareness about the benefits of listening, speaking up, and talking to support each other. The internal communications deliverables included printed and digital assets for different channels.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub
To boost the digital employee experience, we created and produced content for the intranet Wellbeing Hub, including advice and guidance around their Healthier Minds initiative. This involved user-generated content and a launch video featuring colleagues sharing their views on the importance of the Hub.
Personal Energy
To energise Bupa’s employee engagement content, we provided ongoing creative work for the Personal Energy employee wellbeing and resilience programme. The programme helps colleagues manage their personal energy levels to achieve peak performance and a healthy work-life balance. Our work has included producing branding, videos, training materials, manager’s guides on a selection of topics and The Little Book of Energy, a printed and digital booklet delivered in seven languages.
“Getting the tone right is so important with any mental health and wellbeing campaign, especially when working cross culturally. Often, we’re communicating something quite complex using limited words and imagery. The material has to be accessible for everyone and providing it in this way, in various formats, allows the local teams to tailor it for their specific audiences.”
