5 ways you can support employee wellbeing

World Mental Health Day is a good time to reflect on the many aspects of employee wellbeing that have been challenged both before and during the Covid 19 pandemic.

In 2019, WHO estimated that one in eight people globally were living with mental ill health. Post-pandemic it’s estimated that anxiety and depressive disorders have increased by more than 25%.

Stigma and discrimination continue to be a barrier to social inclusion, as do workplace cultures that inhibit people from speaking up, but there is a lot we can all do to play our part in opening up the conversation and creating a culture of care.

At Sequel we’ve worked with a broad range of clients to highlight the issues around mental ill health and have some great case studies and resources that show the tangible actions companies can take to support their employees.
