Exciting new chapter in our Sequel story

Sequel has become an employee-owned business! Founder directors Peter Ciccone, Suzanne Peck and Nick Andrews have sold a percentage of the business to a new Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This effectively means that all 28 employees – while employed at Sequel – will be owners in the business with immediate effect.

EOTs have a number of proven and successful benefits for businesses including improved talent retention and recruitment, and in driving innovation and business growth.

Suzanne Peck, Managing Director of Sequel, said: “Moving to employee ownership has been a long-held ambition of the founding directors and it’s a hugely exciting time for all of us. We’re an ambitious, growing business and this move supports our aspirations for continued success as an independent, specialist agency.
“As well as our people whose hard work means they thoroughly deserve to be owners, we also appreciate the support of our diverse and leading clients in helping Sequel to arrive at this exciting new chapter in our history.”

Day-to-day, there are no changes to Sequel’s leadership with all founder directors actively continuing their operational and strategic roles.

Sequel was founded in 2009 when two leading communications firms merged.
