Workers overwhelmingly say flexible work options would boost their loyalty

Sixty-one percent of people say working from home would help them be more productive because they wouldn’t have to deal with office politics, interruptions from colleagues and commuting stress, an infographic from Technology Advice says.

And 82 per cent say they would be more loyal to their employers if they could work from home and enjoy other flexible work options.

Telecommuting and flexible work schedules are on the rise – 63 million Americans will be working from home by 2016.

Employees want flexible work schedules and the ability to telecommute for work-life balance (74 per cent), family (52 per cent), health and wellness (52 per cent) and to save time and stress (47 per cent), among other reasons.
